Company Overview
At Advanced Therapeutic Concepts, it is our goal to provide quality service and support to children and their families, while providing opportunities for professional growth and experience in Early Intervention. CFs work independently in home settings, yet you are definitely not alone. There is a continuum of professional guidance that will nurture confidence and professional growth in Early Intervention (EI), by providing the tools necessary for you to succeed as a Speech Language Pathologist. All Clinical Fellows, at ATC, are supervised under my guidance, as Director of Early Intervention Services. I am a New York State licensed and certified SLP with more than 20 years of experience in Speech and Language Pathology in a variety of settings.
A SLP supervisor/mentor is required by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide mentorship via ongoing performance assessment and by providing performance improvement guidance to CFs. ATC’s objective is to follow ASHAs guidelines to ensure children and their families are receiving services in accordance with accepted standards of practice. As the CF mentor, I will spend as much time necessary via direct/indirect supervising services, and will be familiar with the IFSP for each child receiving services. Thus, ensuring continued involvement in the care provided. Supervision will be provided directly via site/home visits, in addition to face to face via Skype services, as needed. Indirect supervision will be provided via documentation review and monitoring of service provision.
